Sandals - Primark | Coat & Top - New Look | Bag - H&M
Jumping into that Primark strapppy sandals bandwagon did not give me any type of regret or guilt. The only thing I feel guilty about is not getting the white version of them. Ah! Minimal sandals/heels have been the talk of town for quite awhile now which is the same case towards basic dressing. It doesn't surprise me that it continued it's invasion as we witness number of designers' and retailers' use of basic materials and styles with precise attention to cuts and details.
What are my thoughts about this trend? I guess simplicity is the key to every matters these days. From technology, places, interiors, events to eatery. Minimalism invisibly hits every inch of daily life. Are we starting to hate to complicate? Laziness? I'm not sure but effortless is the best kind of offer at the mean time. What I am sure off though is that simplicity attracts more.
These sandals from ever so lovely Primark hit that interest for me. They are literally everywhere and I am hooked. You can't go wrong with an £8 worth of a goody. Hey! That fact simplifies it more for you. They are appropriate with everything which is something I always gravitates to. Here I paired them with a basic white tee and a pair of leggings, something I wear very rarely. Leggings with other footwear like boots, trainers, etc. doesn't really do it for me but with these I can work with them fine. I threw on the camel-ish coat and topped it all with a baseball cap. It then all resulted to a "far from complicated" errands day.
